This happened a month or so ago and I knew I was going to be passing Newark for work in a couple of weeks. Having read the great reviews of these two I thought I have check them out. They had posted their availability on AW but it didn't go as far as the date I was looking for. I reached out to Fifi to see if they would be available and she got back to me saying that they were and they were looking forward to it. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I send a message the day before to confirm everything is still ok. I got a message back confirming we were still on for tomorrow and she would send the address closer to the time. The next morning I set off on a 4 hour journey and arrive in Newark a couple of hours early and find a coffee shop in the centre. I message about 30 mins before to ask for the postcode so I can get close to the area (I didn't want to be in the centre and find out its a 10-15 min drive out). Silence. Send a message a couple of mins before asking if everything is ok. Silence. A phone call and another text 10-15 mins after the meet time. Silence. I text Laila to see if I could get a response as they were supposed to be together at this point. I did get a text back but it only asked if I had message Fifi.
After 30 mins of waiting I concluded it wasn't going to happen and I carried on my merry way. After reading a couple of recent reviews, it seems ghosting is not that much of an uncommon event with Fifi.
Oh well, plent more fish in the sea as they say.
