Ive always struggled with addiction issues man for over 10 years. Smoking cigarettes, drinking, gambling, escorts and porn. They are all addictions for me and keeping them under control is a real challenge and in Wales there is very little help available. The government needs to do alot more as there must be many people like me.

I think it should be a priority for the government Jim mate, there is probably millions of people suffering with addiction issues in the UK which in many cases leads to mental health issues so if they treated people with addiction issues then they would not have to pay billions out in PIP payments. The system needs changing. I do not claim PIP or any benefits by the way but there needs to be way more help for people. My main two problems were online casino for an hour or two in the night, that would cost me £1500 a month on average and football betting, that would cost me around £900 a month. Way more than I can afford. But for the last few months ive quit casino and football betting so now trying to occupy my time in the evenings doing something else in the evenings. Ive been through it all mate, I hope one day with the help of God I can be in a position where I can talk to and help other people overcome addiction issues but its a very long road trying to do it all by yourself. I just think there should be clinics in Wales with professional trained staff, somewhere a person can go to talk to and get advice/support as I think addiction issues are a massive problem for alot of people and the government just seems to ignore it. Sorry to go on a bit, just think its really sad/unacceptable.
