Technically yes Steve, but I am guessing his general use personal email may give clues to who he is, whereas his 'punting' email may (I'd hope) not.

There is no way I would trust Adultwork - which looks exactly the same now as it did in 2005 and where presumably there is a similarly limited investment in security as in the user interface - with any data that could lead to my front door. Not in a million years.

Why link anything from your punting life to your civvie life? it can lead back to all your personal details.

Punting phone, punting email, punting social media accounts for checking escorts who advertise on Facebook or X. None linked to who I am in my personal life.

Up to  you how much personal information you put out there though.

If the MOJ, Co-op, M&S etc can be hacked, it doesn't matter what security a site has, the answer is NO.

I have a generic email address that I use for all sorts of things, so that my name is not revealed.

Set something up generic and easy to use and remember, e.g.  masteroftimeandspace@  twoplustwoequals@

Do not link it to any device, unless you have a dedicated punting phone.

Also, just bear in mind that AW log your IP address against your profile, (as do many websites  ) - so having multiple AW logins will have AW group them together. SP's can see these groupings.

If you are happy to receive emails to your personal account if you set up say a gmail account you could set that account up to forward all emails it receives to your own account . That way you do see the emails but you protect your personal address .

I don't know the answer to that question, maybe some of the Service Providers who frequent the site can answer that.

What I advise is from now on get an anonymous email address.

How important is it really to you to not risk your privacy, suffer from identity theft, be blackmailed or have your  punting exposed out of malice?
If you are able to manage one email account and use this website at least superficially furtively then you have no lack of knowledge to run another account that is completely separate and sensibly on a separate phone.

if you are concerned about SPs, pimps and brothels calling or messaging you unsolicited comms then why are you concerned about missing email notifications?  if having paid sex matters to you then remembering to check your mail and messages every so often should not be beyond you, unless of course you absolutely need a notice to interrupt a work call or meeting or social event, possibly audibly and thus letting others know you have other things taking priority.

The ONLY reason to use your personal email and phone is because you want your punting life to collide with your "real" life and for most of those collisions to be bad for you. Do the sensible thing and spend the 30 mins or so to learn how to manage more than one account and phone, also there are plenty of threads here with good information read them, some of it already reiterated for the umpteenth time by other posters here.  It really isn't difficult if this really matters to you.

OP are you talking about the ‘Send Email’ / email system in AW itself?

If so I don’t think it is actual emails, more of a messaging service. You do get a notification to your actual linked email… all it says is ‘New Message from Adultwork.com’ and then you have to log into AW.

But like others have said use a different email address for AW and not your personal one. It’s not worth the risk. They are very easy to set up… I have a gmail one. I even use have a different one for social media more as a precaution in case of a hack to protect personal info and contacts.

This. There is absolutely no way of linking my punting phone, email addresses etc back to my real phone, real life etc.
It's actually quite hard to guarantee total separation, don't make it harder by using your civvy email address for punting FFS!
