yep its happened to me a few times, even after confirming via phone and in person. Once they have your money you are at their mercy and service can change on a whim. That's why this forum is important to highlight when things go wrong, like the OP has done.

If others can suggest other options and tactics we can use i'd be all ears.. i remember in another thread one guy would walk in and plant a kiss straight away and gauge their reaction. if not to his liking he'd walk. lol not sure i could do that..
