I sent the selfie, age, and ethnicity. Selfie was a one time photo, this isn't without its risks but I was fine with it. You might not be, which is totally fine. I'm not sure whether there is any room to convince her, but no harm in asking politely. I didn't, and just rolled with it.

i read previous reviews that she had to come collect you from the lift in the lobby which really put me off. Was this the case when you saw her ? or straight to the room ?

It comes down to where she is staying at the time. When I visited, the lifts in that particular hotel needed an access card, so she had to come down to get me. That won't be the case everywhere.

If you are worried, I would recommend just asking the maid whether you will be able to go straight to the room, or whether she will have to meet/collect you.

I met her again a month or so ago. She has definitely put on a bit of extra weight around her gut in the last year. But still attractive face and same great service, I hope to see her again.
