I found the place to be a bit impersonal when its busy. Sitting in an open waiting room with other punters was something i found uncomfortable. Other than that, the girls were good when i went (5 or 6 times) its some years since i went.

Yes, there’s that little waiting area at the top of the stairs. The last time I was there, they even had a visitors book, where you could leave comments. 😂

I remember on one occasion during the 1990s, I went in and there was a guy who worked with my wife. Luckily he was sat with his back to me as I walked up the stairs. So I snook back down the stairs and went to the reception and explained the situation. At the time there used to be a nice little hotel opposite, so I went in there for a pint until he’d gone. I don’t suppose it would’ve been a problem if I’d seen him, because we were both there for the same thing.

Last time I was there, there was a bloke waiting as I came out of the toilet. I sat down, said hello and asked him who he was seeing and proceeded to give him my view of what she was like - whether he wanted it or not. I’m a pain to spend any time with 😂
