Author Topic: Reporting fake profiles on AdultWork  (Read 800 times)

I do get fed up with all the PG gallery scammers on AW.

As AW get a cut from the credits used, it may not be in their financial interests to implement more rigorous checks and controls.

When I find images, using TinEye, that have been taken from other sites I make a point of reporting via the link at bottom of profile page  and copy and paste the url as proof. (Sometimes there is no PG so is just the escort using anothers image for B&S)

This does seem to do the trick and would urge other members to do the same to help cut thes down.

As far as I am aware AW then deducts the credits built up by scammer, but probably does not refund to all the people that have been scammed ?

AW don't give a fuck, they let the profiles run for a bit then close them and keep the credits

As James says, AW don't really care as its a money making exercise.

Proof is the key, ensure you add any links of using other pictures to any complaint. In the past I have had success in getting profiles removed.
Personally I don't do it anymore as I've deleted my AW profile.

All good stuff you're doing snowbum but the others are right, AW don't give a shit.

I've reported many fakes, like you providing links to blagged images, some disappear quite quickly whereas others stay put.

The best thing you can do is report them on the fakes & scammers list here, it's much quicker than reporting to AW and will get noticed when others search by AW number or photo.

Don't just rely on tineye to do your search for fakes. It's not that reliable.

Google reverse image search tends to find many that tineye cannot.

Thanks Lewsis, there are some obvious fakes that TinEye does not pick up, but is quite quick. I will give your suggestion a try.

As you say, it does seem to do the trick so it is worth doing. I reported one that was using images of someone I know and it was gone within a few hours.
The scammers don't get the credits, but we don't get them returned either.
