I found this talk interesting and I thought it was worth giving it a post in the off topic section here.  :hi:

I wouldn't be pretentious enough to give women a lecture on what they need out of life so I don't expect an American prostitute who works in a country where sex work is illegal to lecture me on what I need in life.

Thanks PK, an interesting watch. Despite the context of USA lunacy, a lot of what she said rang true.

Tbh I wasn't going to bother following the link because as Davie says it's USA based so unlikely any relevance to here, however with your comment I took a look.

On much of what she says I cannot disagree at all, we are often the only intimate contact some men have and we all know how important touch and intimacy are in our lives, many a time I have seen older gents who have lost their wives and have not been held or kissed for years and I agree we need to look at the language we use and the stereotypical way we raise our boys to shy away from emotional expression.

She made a lot of sense, it's a little bit of a missed opportunity as she could have advocated for legalisation but that may have taken away from the strength of the rest of her talk.
