A few weeks ago, I was in town for a few days with some unexpected free time after several meetings were canceled.
My shoulders had been tense for days, so I decided to get a massage. After trying to contact a few places with limited success and reading some average reviews on UKP, I opted for Vivian from "European Massage," not far from Memorial Stadium (not sure if that's still considered Southmead). The massage took place in an apartment where Vivian, a student, and her friend, who also studies and works part-time as a masseuse, offer services.
Vivian had a girl-next-door look—fairly average in appearance—but she was friendly and chatty. The massage cost £60 and was done professionally. She even recommended some supplements, suggesting I might have poor circulation, and seemed knowledgeable.
I didn’t ask about any extras, as that wasn't my focus, but I got the impression that this wasn't something they offered. Everything felt as professional as could be.
I've seen their add come and go on VS and GumTree with names other than Vivian. But always include "European Massage" and with the same number so decided to drop the review.
Would I return? Maybe if I lived close by. It's probably the first and last time I'll be here so couldn't say.
It's worth noting that there is a Security Camera right above the door in corridor like many around the building - which I would found unnerving had I lived local.
