Would probably need a SP to confirm, but heard AW might take it from Place of Birth rather than Nationality.
Pretty stupid approach as birthplace doesn't determine racial origins, ethnicity or current nationality.
External Link/Members OnlyDeciding nationality from place at birth seems an unnecessarily difficult and potentially incorrect method to confirm nationality for Adultwork, I don't think every passport even lists where a person is born; mine just lists a particular district and not even a town.
Border queues are long enough without a border guard figuring out whether the
Soho listed in your passport as place of birth is Soho London and therefore British, or Soho New York, and therefore citizen of the USA. Also what of people like Boris Johnson, who was born in the USA but now has just British citizenship? Far easier to just use the nationality stated in the passport!
Doubt whoever runs Adultwork needs to be, yet alone are bothered enough to be as diligent as a border guard, so no doubt they'll just look at the nationality stated in the passport.
So the question is why this service provider feels the need of saying they're one nationality when they're verified as another: maybe it's a profile that's been "recycled" to be used by someone else?
