I'd heard that ages ago, before I joined, there was a problem with the HOD owner being involved in fiddling reviews on here but wasn't aware the Phoenix club owner also apparently has done this.

I've attended Phoenix regularly for years but haven't reviewed since my first review of the place as wasn't sure if I'm even allowed to review again.

Can't say this review whiffs of 'bribed' given the OP mentioned the 'guaranteed ratio' being broken which is something I've also experienced a number of times.

Curious if you've got any examples of dodgy Phoenix reviews on here though.

Thanks. Brings back memories. At the end of the day I haven't considered going again because the girls don't seem to be as good looking as they were at LMP a few years back. However a guy waiting around in the room or doorway used to put me off of any action I was engaged in. Although I have reviewed them three times the parties I attended where in 2024, 2023 and 2022 so visiting them once a year I do not consider myself to be a regular by any means. I have never discussed reviews with anyone at any party.

Considering how many parties they must hold in a year I would have thought that even the odd faked one would have been drowned out by all the real ones.
I read the phoenix party reviews on this site and I can't remember coming across any I thought were faked. As I tend to have good experiences at the parties if I read a review by someone else who's had a similar experience I tend to believe them. If I read a bad review I'd believe that as well. I can imagine if you get a party where it's over the ratio, the girls aren't up for it and you get a bunch of selfish hogs you wouldn't have a good time. (And they hold so many parties you'd think this must happen every now and again?)
All I can say is I have had a good time at the parties I've attended and have reviewed accordingly.

I have not heard of guys being offered discounts for Phoenix reviews.

But in the past I know the number one cheer leader and fan boy of LMP was given discounts for spending all day at the venue to attend all 3 parties.

I have been a fair few times and left a couple of reviews as well.

I have not been back for a good 5-6 months, primarily because of the poor state of the bathrooms, etc

As regards Em..... i dont know any stories from the past but what I have seen, she doesnt seem like she'd offer anyone a dime for a review.

That's a shame. The great thing about the first couple of parties I went to was that there was great socialising upstairs with Em, her partner and other punters which took my mind off having to get ready for the next pop. The last party I went to was just a couple of grumpy people upstairs. The Polish guy who used to serve drinks had been replaced by a young guy who seemed more suited to door work and would not engage in conversation, and a French lady who worked there partying and  answering the phones and was not friendly either. I never went back.
