Comms are rubbish - via AW only - no mobile given out - once you book and get a location and time thats it - radio silence

Turned up with just the money in my pocket and nothing else , i even hid my car key in a bag, in a bush 1/4 mile away where i parked - all felt wrong

I occasionally plant my car key somewhere {not on me at the punt}  if i feel the area is dodgy or the location feels off, wallet, phone etc all hiden in the car and kust take the exact cash im due to require - so if i get fleeced they get what they get. only happened a few times in my 10years or so and gut feel was always right - often crap location - crap punt

I take just the required cash, but I would still take my keys in with me instead of leaving them in a bush.

Do you also take a branch with you to wipe away your footprints to the SP's venue and wear gloves so you don't leave fingerprints anywhere?

I think it's more likely someone will see you planting your keys in a bush than getting robbed at the punt.  And if you were robbed how would they know where you parked your car?
