After taking a break from UK punting (long story), but having read gleefully (!) about FKK on this forum, I decided on a recent EU road trip that it was time to break my monastic lifestyle, push my boundaries, and indulge myself. After all, it’s not something you get to do in the UK. And, when in Rome (or Munich!)…
As an FKK first-timer, and as there hasn’t been a review of FKK Sunshine for some time, I wanted to share my impressions. In short, colour me pleasantly surprised.
External Link/Members OnlyThere’s plenty of choice for FKKs in Munich, but FKK Sunshine seemed to best fit my bill: easy to get to, a website and venue that feels reliable and doesn’t look too shabby, and what looked like reasonable prices. It easily lived up to those expectations.
So, euros in hand, I jumped on the U-Bahn to Westendstraße. FKK Sunshine is just a short walk away. As it was late spring and still light on my arrival I felt fairly safe. A few taxis lurking outside. A convenient cash machine in the entrance, but as I presumed it would charge a hefty fee, I’d pre-prepared my stash.
As you’d expect as a first-timer I was a bit nervous walking in, but the girl behind reception (having obviously seen it all before) was very friendly and just got on with the practicalities. Paid the €80 entrance fee. Handed a towel, flip-flops and a wrist-band locker key, told the basics and left to crack on.
Changing room felt clean and well-maintained considering it’s fairly well used (basically, like any mainstream gym). Shower was nice and warm. Several fellow customers milling around (clearly the post-work, pre-home commuting crowd), but acting all very matter-of-fact. Again, like a gym, just a different kind of workout. So, with my possessions stashed away it was time to head in.
Looking a bit bemused, it was clear I was a ‘noob’, so – in what seems like classic style – I was ‘given the tour’. All very friendly, and no offence taken when I said I wanted to get settled before partaking in any services.
A really pleasant venue. A bar with a few cubby holes for discrete discussion of potential services to be rendered. I stuck to the free soft drinks, so no idea of prices. A dining area with food (again, didn’t partake). Lounges with big sofas and TVs showing sport. A small movie room showing porn. Outdoor and indoor jacuzzis and a dry sauna. And (obviously) lots of underwear-clad girls in their 20s and 30s…
The girls milled around, chatting amongst themselves and with what looked like regular punters. I was a pleasantly surprised at how discrete they were about approaching me, and with very little pressure. Equally, a whirlwind of names. But, after a few conversations, I clicked with a tall slim brunette (Ina, if I recall) and decided to take the next step.
I explained this was all a bit new to me. Obviously, after UK punting where services are all pre-agreed by email or text, it was a bit weird to be so brazenly discussing things face-to-face, but Ina was very considerate and put me at my ease. Opted for 30 minutes with OWO for what I recall was €110.
Fees agreed, we headed upstairs to one of the large and pleasantly furnished rooms. Again, Ina was very considerate in taking the lead, but quickly turned things very passionate. I’ll spare you the grisly details, but duck (pleasantly) broken, we went down to the changing room to exchange money. A peck on the cheek, and I took a shower before heading back in for seconds.
On UK punts, after the first pop I tend to need a bit of recovery time. So, with extended multi-hour bookings in the UK not being that good value if you don't click with the girl, I’ve often wondered what it would be like to multi-punt in reasonably quick succession. This was very much that, and very pleasant it was, too.
I spent some time in the sauna (very hot). Once recovered, aware of how things proceed, and now suitably emboldened, I opted to spend another pleasant 30 minutes with a tall slim blonde (Crina?). As you’d imagine, the newly-FKK-confident-me had even more fun this time round.
At this point, I decided it was time to head back to my hotel. Out of curiosity I walked to the nearby Hansa 9 Laufhaus to see if I fancied ticking another experience off my box, but decided that it all looked a bit more blatently transactional (and not necessarily in a good way).
Like your first punt, I guess your first trip to an FKK is a right of passage and a learning experience. But, having indulged I have to say it was less weird than I thought, hugely enjoyable, and I’d heartily recommend FKK Sunshine. The FKK scene seems so much more safe and relaxed for all involved, rather than the puritanical scurrying around in dark corners of the internet that we have to do in the UK. So, well done the Germans…
