About as realistic as action man

Fair enough, but it's early days with a free program.
As the program improves and people get more skilled with it the results will improve. I suspect at least some of the Chinese profiles are already done this way

Totally agree. The image attached I pinched from a Viva Street ad. It looks artificial even though I admit to not being an expert

How do you get them to generate naked as it keeps saying not allowed as maybe offence and of an adult theme(roughly says that)

Online scutty brown

by default theres an age censor written into the program
you can turn that off if you're quick - if you scroll down as the program runs you'll see placeholders for the six images it generates.
There's a tick box to disable the censor filter - click it then click save. Do it a few times and it'll permanently disable the filter.
Yeah it's a bit obscure.

I've been playing around with AI photos for the last few months. The paid programs are better, almost perfect. I've seen amazing results with Mage.Space

I tried “naked ballet dancer with hairy pubes” and was told to fuck off

Sorry about this.

This generated image may contain themes that are not appropriate for all audience, such as graphic violence, or sexual content. This can happen due to the randomness and biases of the AI algorithm, or specific words in your prompt.

Got it. But it doesn’t understand that ballet dancers have small tits.

“Naked Margaret thatcher hairy pubes open fanny, low-angle shot” produces something you didn’t want to see  :vomit:

The potential for dangerous stuff seems immense. Scarlett Johannsen has taken legal action to stop anyone using her image in a motion picture without her permission (as apparently the AI can generate whole movies that seemingly contain top actors without any input from the actor). Pervy stuff.

Isn't this a bit like the film Gladiator when Oliver Reed died before completing the movie but they managed to complete the film  :unknown:

Some results are more realistic than others depending what parameters you set.

A lot of things were fairly uncontroversial then. I think Oliver Reed would have been pleased. (It seems to have been fairly minor special effects).

I imagine Johannsen would be more concerned about “Lucy 2” starring herself when she had nothing to do with it and no profits from it.

There’s also a question of intellectual copyright that is being trashed when publishers re-release for instance Enid Blyton in a more ‘woke’ version. What’s next … Huckleberry Finn, Gone With the Wind, Homer’s Odyssey?

AI can make realistic ‘works of art’ — minus the original genius. I’m not saying Enid Blyton is a work of genius but campaigners take easiest pickings first.

Aiornot.com said it’s probably human.

On what basis OP do you think it’s AI rather than blatant photoshop?

No, maybe one or two other profiles at most.

The point? Reverse Image searches won't find any evidence of fakery

Good point, we’ll need to use AI detector tools like aiornot.com as well as reverse image searches.

I ran all four photos through this tool External Link/Members Only
and all gave a probability that the photos were AI generated of 90-95%

tried the same test with External Link/Members Only
and the results were 60/9/9/60%  - though that has to be set against it giving a 52% probability of fake against one of my creations

External Link/Members Only  gave a 96% probability of AI generation
External Link/Members Only   just 39%

shows the technology isn't mature and you need to use multiple tools

The key to good AI art is good prompt words and phrases.  The more detail you add, the better the results.  There are even a few websites that give you prompt suggestions that you can then tweak yourself to get the results you want.  Additionally, there are many different AI engines you can use, some are SFW and some are not.  I think of it like a word game - use the right words and you can unlock some great results.  Here's an example of one that I made:

Not necessarily. One of my biggest annoyances with AI is how it will often completely ignore parts of the prompt, seemingly arbitrarily, and no matter how many times you run it. I would say at least half the time when you specifically instruct AI art apps to draw two people, they only draw one of them, as a good example.

The new google version when it comes out is supposed to be better (they say).

I had a go at using Porn Journey as it is supposed to be one of the best AI generators, but I couldn't even get it to create a single picture in free mode. It makes you wait about 4 minutes then produces an error. It's the same on my phone and when I tried on PC. Maybe the paid version works better, but I am not forking out without knowing it will.
