Phoenix party, Saturday 23rd Sept - Did it happen ?

Did Saturday's phoenix party happen?

I tried calling just after 9am, and it rang out to voicemail (ie. unanswered rather than engaged).
As this was a rare day that I had available I didn't give up, not wanting to miss the opportunity to experience a party, and so i tried calling multiple times up to about 1pm, always with it ringing out to voicemail. Wattsapp messages to the same number appear to have gone unread, and there was no reply to an SMS.

Does anyone know if the party happened on Sat, please, or if I made a rookie mistake in trying to book by phone on a Saturday morning, as per website instructions?

Have you attended before? Perhaps you've been blacklisted for whatever reason though no way to know this.

I've attended regularly for several years now and usually the hostess is very good about answering the phone quickly though there have been one or two times where it has taken a few attempts.

No, I've not attended before.

I did call her earlier in the week (mid-afternoon) and got through; I asked if there was any way to pre-book, and confirm on the day and was told "no". I'd hope that an innocent  enquiry from a newbie isn't a blacklistable offence!?

You should have just turned up, that's quite strange from Emma.

I would not recommend just turning up without making a booking.
