External Link/Members OnlyProposed Meet - 15 minute introductory "quicky" arranged in advance of the day , with good coms on the lead up, confirmed on the day on route for the time and a rough location.
Location - Edge of town "car dealer area" type location, but plenty of flats etc so one more person walking wouldn't be suspect. however the faff for the door to the flat was a little confusing with people hanging round outside.. that made it obvious i was a visitor...mainly my fault as I didnt realise the first one needed the person at the other end to answer and let me in.
Details- So, i suppose lets get the reason for the neutral out of the way.. i rang five minutes before my booked time as I was circling the venue and she answered and confessed she had fell asleep... to me, thisreally put me off, as , my mind lept to the possibility of less then "ready" attire and showered etc ... i nearly walked then but was told I will be ready in five... so I hung around, which heightened my nerves ( im not a comfortable punter just yet) ... got the call back pretty quick that she was ready, but i had kind of wandered away as i didnt want to not be moving in an area I dont know, so had to half jog back... it was a hot day , so ended up feeling less than fresh myself.
after that, had the door fiasco above, mainly my fault and a bit more nerves kicking in...
got to the premises, usual hide and seek act.. got in and was greeted by Renaya, she , to be fair , was a little older than i expected, but pretty and with a really nice presence... however, and this was the deal breaker for me , the flat clearly smelt of very recent smoke....
this was one small thing too many, as it made the explanation of my little trip that much harder, so , i bailed then and there.
Renaya was actually VERY sweet about this, calling me after so ask for an honest reason why, and when i detailed the above, she absolutely took it all onboard in a very professional manner that was actually very refreshing ... this alone, makes me happy to try again at one point in the future and with maybe a little prod earlier to make sure the booking is still on.
