Good point. It seems the AW functionality has changed as well, so this could be an industry-wide change. Whatever the reason, I'm betting it's done in our favour.

oh wow thanks for that, I hadn't seen that change, fortunately the change in AW profile configurations has been hiding them for new accounts now or i might have fallen fowl of that rule, as I thought these threads were a really good idea when i saw them.

I would say no, no verification photos, and no re-posting of verification photos, so would say posting a link to a verification photo, is just the same as post the photo here

In which case a review cannot be done on the SP if she uses a veripic as one of the main pics on her profile.

I would say, that isn't the case, so if someone has found a verification photo, and posts a link, to the profile, then thats just the same as posting the photo here

If someone is posting a review, and the AW profile has a verification photo, you not posting a link to the verification photo, but rather to the profile

If a review was posted for this SP, though why anyone would want to see a barebacker is beyond me, then her profile pictures would show at the top on the page.

If she or the pimp want to publicise the verification pic as one of the profile pics then that would be outwith the rules here.

Rule #29 is do not post verification pictures that have been inadvertently left on show or pictures from private galleries. Previous posts that include such photos should not be linked to in a new post.

This is in addition to rule #22 which covers the likes of private photos or those from from social media.

As a basic rule of thumb, if there's any doubt it might be against the rules don't do it or ask.

It a shame that the new rule prevents us posting those photos here as I found this thread super useful as many times someone I think of going for, i check and find them to be super ugly here in this thread and on the other hand, this was the thread which make me started going to the korean pimp in east london too.

I assume the rule is to protect this site from being attacked by haters of this site so I can understand that this is just a small sacrifice to protect the overall forum but still sad.

When I go back through my posting history I have noticed quite alot of photo's that have been deleted. All of them were photo's which had been openly shared on AW when I saved copies of them. Some of them may have been moved into the private galleries now, but at the time I saved them they were openly available within the public domain.

If this rule has been added due to a perceived legal obligation has there been some sort of change to the law? The legal position has been discussed multiple times in the past. Here's one example I contributed to, but there are many other examples:

I have passed your query on to Head1, he is the one who as site owner decides what can and can't be posted. Though whether or not he will feel the need to explain himself I do not know.

As a moderator I just ensure the rules set by the owner are not broken.

Sometimes I get a request to remove images for a wide range of reasons. If I feel that the reason is a valid one, I will remove them

I think it's a good rule. If someone wants their photo to be hidden then it should not be displayed on the internet.

They send the verification photo in private to Adultwork to verify their account. Whilst it's true that there is no guarantee that the one who creates the account is the person you will meet, the fact is it's intended to be a private verification with the site, not something to be displayed on a public forum.

Let us really respect privacy.

The problem is nowadays they a certain girl to verify the profile and then they change the photo in the profile with no face and sometimes stolen photos. The point of this community is to help fellow punters from being scammed or save from being bait and switch scenarios. It would have not been a problem but recently many Brazilian and Romanian WG’s pimp has been using this trick to lure fellow punters, some of whom won’t be able to walkout like others. Pure scam.

I agree, even though it was nice to see verification pics on ukp, I can imagine it makes it a hassle for whoever owns the site when they get complaints from girls about stuff being on here. I don't remember it being that useful for me on this thread, but it was handy in reviews about specific girls, where their gallery was completely different to their verification. Then again verification's can make girls look rough but in person they look great.

Who the fuck care's that much anyway. A review with a profile link and a few photos is sufficient for me.

yes i see the point .. it was useful but i can imagine privacy concerns .. i would not be confortable with my photo on this thread or any other and would be glad if there was an easy way to remove it ... I think some of these verified pics were public by default on AW and had to opt out specifically ..

Good job someone’s drawn attention to this rule as it could be easily overlooked. As I understand it, public gallery photos are ok but not ones from the paid-for private gallery or verification photos. Good to know what the rules are, even if the hidden photos have served a purpose in the past.

I rarely pay for photos. But what can be useful is flicking thru the public gallery. Often a p4p just sticks loads of photos (including more up to date ones) there and only the best one on the profile.

On private gallery or verification pics, if you’ve seen them and they are at odds with the public photos, it’s maybe ok to describe the differences in words to help prevent punters being conned by a profile picture several years and several pounds out of date.
