External Link/Members OnlyI visited this place earlier on this week. It's a massage shop located near to Aldgate East tube station. Turned up without an appointment but I didn't have to wait to be seen.
The interior of the shop is a bright white colour with three small treatment rooms in a row on the left hand side as you come in and a reception desk at the far end.
The reception was staffed by an attractive oriental girl in her mid twenties to whom I paid £60 for a one hour massage. I was hoping she would be the one to provide the massage, but alas no.
I was ushered into the narrow treatment room and offered the chance to take a shower, which I took. Just after I entered the room the masseuse I had been allocated briefly poked her head round the door to say hello - first impressions were not good.
The shower was clean (as was the room) and had plenty of hot water. After I had showered and dried off she came back in. She was a fairly unattractive Chinese/East Asian woman in her mid fifties and I decided right then that I would not be partaking in any extra services if they were to be offered later on.
Keeping a towel firmly secured around my waist I lay face down on the treatment table and the massage proceeded.
Not a lot of conversation other than to ask me if I had been to the place before (which I hadn't).
The massage was pretty good on the whole, although she did push down too hard on my spine on a couple of occasions which was slightly painful.
After about 40 minutes she asked me to turn over - which I did, keeping the tower around my waist. After a short time lightly massaging my chest a legs she leant forward and whispered (with fairly unpleasant breath) 'Would you like me to massage that' - nodding towards my covered nether regions. I politely declined, which she accepted with no fuss and continued massaging my legs for the remaining time.
After the massage was over, I took another shower and left.
Overall a disappointing experience and I would not recommend this place.
