External Link/Members OnlyMeeting should have taken place earlier this week. Knowing that I was going to be in Leeds I sent a text to Sawaddee asking for an appointment. They got back to me within the hour agreeing my requested start time & duration. They asked in a follow-up text that I confirm the appointment on the day before noon, which I duly did as I was travelling into Leeds. Later that day I arrived at the shop about 5 minutes early for my appointment and knocked on the door which was locked. After a minute or so the door was opened by a middle aged Asian lady, when I explained who I was she told me that she had texted me earlier, moving my appointment back by 30 minutes. Unfortunately I had received no such text from the shop. I thought about having a look around the shops for half an hour and then coming back but couldn’t be bothered, if the lady in front of me had been a real looker I might have been tempted but she wasn’t. So I said to her “sorry can’t wait” and I was on my way. People may think a red is a bit harsh but I can’t see myself going back to Sawaddee with other more reliable options available nearby.
