First review, so any pointers welcome now I've finally remembered my account details.

Was staying in Stoke with work and looking around for options on AW.  Mariah seemed to have good reviews and ticked all the boxes.  Made contact through text and was told that she had a friend available too, who was new to things and would have been happy to join.  Agreed I think £300 for an hour with both of them, and put the booking on AW.  Agreed to a £50 deposit which was paid with no issues.

Time came and went, with a few texts about taxis and likely timings.  Asked what was going on to be told the babysitter had called and she needed to head back, and her friend wasn't confident enough to go solo.  Offered the deposit back, but when I accepted that, nothing.  Next day a couple of 'oh sorry babe I can tell you what happened just lots going on' messages.

She's real and reviewed elsewhere, but thought it was worth the cautionary tale.

You were brave giving a deposit and lucky to get it back tbf unless you are saying  it never arrived back to you ?

I know some genuine SPs need a deposit, their business/their rules, but I would never give one unless for an exceptional reason (like I know SP well) and only then for a token amount. Get back in the saddle and enjoy what's out there albeit not much in Stoke.

No, never saw it again. Honestly, I’ve had deposits work out more often than not, and if the girl has good reviews and isn’t asking for half up front or anything I’ll consider it. Sometimes it’s not your day, and I see that in general it’s best avoided though. Hard to think straight at times as we all know…!

Was this for an outcall to you? I can understand why some require deposits for outcalls but I'm not keen. I've only once paid a deposit and it was fine, but generally if they come away with a deposit request I just cancel.

It was, to a nice, big-name chain hotel in the city centre.  £50 for a £250 booking didn't seem that bad, especially as she was well reviewed and seemed genuine.

Each to their own but I don’t get this. The OP states good reviews but where?? On Aw?? Surely by now everyone knows Aw feedback can’t be trusted and is y’all’s a load of bollocks. But even if it was the AW feedback the forth one down literally says deposit scammer.

If some IT genius wants a business venture idea how about setting up a safe space for wg/punter deposits lol like they do with rental property deposits. That should be a interesting sell at a board meeting

Yeah, I meant AW ones; I generally assume if they're visible then the meets at least went ahead, so probably not a total scam.  Still, at least I can now be a cautionary tale for others!

I have met this SP, she was gorgeous, fun and really wanted to please!!

However upon trying to return a few months later she also asked me for a deposit… I just completely refuse to give deposits!

Sad to hear she also scammed you out of money!!

I had a duo booking with Mariah (and Chloe Frey) once during the lockdown times - brilliant experience, both really fit and fun.   Tried to repeat it last year and she did the same deposit scam - I didn't think anything of it as I'd seen her before (and asked for the same duo), but she was crap on comms and I tried to see if she was available on a different number and she was pushing again for a deposit for a booking at the same time as she was meant to be seeing me. Then had the gall to call me a time waster.  Was meant to be sending me the deposit back but I never got it.  Put me off anything that involves a deposit again.

Ok, can’t see your loving history, only that you have had an account since 2021.

So with what you have said in mind you can still do a review if that meet (and any other meets you’ve had) happened within the past 12 months.
