Overthinker here. I'm scared of going to an WG and not knowing there true age. One thing I do is chit chat and ask how old they are. Often you'll get the odd how old dyou think I am and then wink but in most cases you get an answer. I've only had one case last year where she said she was 18 but I had serious doubts so I walked and phoned the police. this was late april last year and I went a few month not punting cus it freaked me out. Not sure what happened afterwards tbh and did not hear about it on the local paper so I guess it might have been legit

If she was underage she'd be treated as a victim, confidentiality rules would prevent you being told

The vigilante stings are a curious one. One the one hand  the police say they don't condone such action  and on the other hand  they're happy to turn up and arrest the perv.

Active punter and SA user here (London and North of the border). Got a call from a private number the other night from some guy asking if it was Ally Mcfeel speaking (knew my punting alias). I said no. He said he'd reported this number to the police for chatting to an underage girl. I laughed and hung up.

No idea what he's on about. Initial thoughts are a jealous boyfriend or someone on the wind up. Considering getting legal advice anyway.

Anyone ever been in a similar spot? For clarity I have never/would never continue chatting to an SP or SB if I suspected they were underage obviously.

Don't even bother, he is probably having a right old laugh reading these posts. Just ignore the cretin and move on.

I didn't catch a post about the phone you are using but get an app like hushed or if you can have a second phone get one.

It is easy to say "forget it move on"

A lot of people can do that some like myself struggle, everybody reacts to these things differently.

I had a slightly similar situation for a while it wasn't as direct and was more semi-threatening stuff and I let it affect me because for whatever reason they knew a lot of detail

I changed the sim very shortly after this period but again for some people including me these sorts of things play on the mind for a long time, I wish it wouldn't
