Most times they don’t say a word or even notice, but I was asked too on my last visit. I literally just told the guy the floor number initially, then he asked the flat number, I told him, he said ok. I mean surely residents are allowed visitors

Pretty much. They might suspect something, but who the hell cares?  I'm only really careful in hotels, where I wouldn't want the girl to get thrown out as some take they pretty dim view towards sex work.

When i saw her i engaged the concierge first simply with a “Morning Chaps”. They responded in the same measure and no questions were asked. I always prefer to be confident and confront people first as to come across like im meant to be there and know where I’m going.

Usually works for me too. Once a concierge came out a side door as I walked in and I jumped, told him he scared the shit out of me. Had a laugh then on my way. Like you, it seems if you act like you belong then the questions just don't get asked.
