I saw Ivy’s profile and though that she looked great.

I booked 3 days ahead on AW email; I asked if she wanted me to put an AW booking through. She said no. RED FLAG, I generally find that if a SP says don’t put a booking through it means one of three things, either

1) she is planning on flaking on you
2) she’s double booked you or
3) her life is so chaotic that she’s not sure if she will be able to commit to the booking, or her admin is so poor she just can’t be arsed and is likely to forget you booked her in the first place. All of these are red flags in my experience.

The day before the booking I texted her to make sure all ok for the following day, she replied that yes everything was OK she gave me a postcode and said text when arrived and close to the agreed start time.

The following morning she cancels me with just over an hours’ notice.

I suspect that she is maximising her income and dropping appointments where she can make more by maximising shorter bookings. She charges £120 for 30 minutes but only £150 for 45 or £170 for an hour. Easy to bin off a 1 hour appointment and replace it with 2 x 30 or 4 x 15 minutes for another £110! If this is her chosen business model she shouldn’t offer appointments that she doesn’t want to honour if it’s busy. There’s all the hallmarks of a conveyor belt system as well here.

I note from her AW feedback I see that she has cancelled on other people before, on more than one occasion, so if you are contemplating booking her be prepared to be messed around or even cancelled on, so have a Plan B, however, there are few Plan B options in that area.
