Time for my first review...

Massage booked over the phone - 1 hour for £45 minutes. The window to the front of the shop now has a frosted layer to it, so you can't nose in and see who's working. Went in to find my masseuse would be a lady called Anna. She's around 50, fairly good looking I guess for a mature lady even though she's carrying a few excess pounds.

Her massage is okay - not firm, relaxing enough I guess. A few cc swipes while working my thighs and on turn over the towel got discarded and hand relief offered for £40.

I went ahead with it but a couple of things before giving the go ahead really spoiled the experience...

She asked lots of quite personal questions in her not-so-casual chat that really spoiling the mood for me. Then the bartering... she wouldn't budge from £40 - I tried for a good few minutes to get the price down to no avail. Despite the mood being almost completely spoiled and the old fella being pretty limp by this point I decided to go ahead with it - I wasn't thinking rationally.

The handjob wasn't great - getting going again after the problems to this point didn't help. She was quite mechanical with the odd not so convincing groan here and there.

So the worst part is that on my previous visit to Elements I had Anna and much the same experience and it had happened again. I went back because when I was leaving first time around I saw a younger masseuse, probably in her 20s who was good looking and I was hoping to get her; alas, I did not.

So, not an experience I'll be looking to repeat. Does anyone know the name of the 20 something masseuse working there? If I could get her name I'd definitely visit Elements again, if not then I'll give it a miss.

Thanks for your first review and welcome to the forum.

I know it's difficult, but I just wouldn't pay £40 for HR.
At the Chinese place in town, I've had b2b for £50.
Don't know what's happened with the staff. The last time I went, there were two attractive young ladies working there.
Maybe they were just temporary and they've gone back to the older miserable ones they've had for years.
Haggling like that is my pet hate and spoils the whole experience.
It's a shame. I thought Elements was showing promise.

They seem to rotate quite often, of the two young girls you mention I know at least one went back to Thailand as I remember her telling me, (incidentally she told me she was coming back October) Always seem to be different staff every few months.

If you try and barter then they hold the upper hand. They'll stick to their guns expecting you to give in and pay.

If you say, "too much", the onus is on them accept they're going to get nothing or reduce to an acceptable figure that you'll pay.
