Interesting. Just a thought -  I guess professional preference and personal/ sexual  preference are not necessarily the same thing. You do get black WGs saying no blacks, Polish saying no Polish etc. Partly this may be because "it's a small world" and they run the risk of being visited by someone they have some personal link to. But maybe also it's a way of putting a mental barrier between work and personal life.

Yeh thing is you'll see a majority say its down to a few bad occasions, Problem with that is if you blacklist a polish or black etc or whatever it is down to a few occasions then you'd need to keep the same energy/ consistency across the board which ofc won't and never happens. One can understand yeh Polish not wanting to see their own because of the risk of running into someone they'd meet back home, especially Bulgarians and Lithuanias where its a small place. You have Black WGs also do the same because of their communities being quite tight, you might run the risk of running into someone from church

Fair enough haha but I'd say there is always that risk even especially if the friends aren't black. But better than the bad experiences bullshit I usually see around

She had it when she used to work in Stratford, once called her up, spoke to her and she was fine seeing me. I always thought it was because the area and she didn't want the hassle of all the roadmen but your answer makes sense.
