Are there limits to personal messages to forum members?? I got a message saying quota of 1 per 12 hours. Is that right as I've not had it before

Too many people want to turn this into a private members club where they use the site to gather information then share the benefits between themselves by PM instead of on the open boards where it benefits everyone.
