I was in Aberdeen last week for the day on a works training course . Had a look on AW to see what delights I could sample up there since I’m never really in this area.

FFS here’s me thinking things were poor in Edinburgh. Two pages of absolute horrors - feel sorry for you guys up there very little to choose from. A few touring Brazilian trannys, a handful of auld heffers, a couple of junkie looking locals and a few ‘parked’ profiles are the only actual ones that look decent.

Sorry Davey did not know this was common knowledge. I just expected a city with quarter of a million population and, traditionally, generally higher income than the rest of Scotland with the oil industry, to attract a better class of SP. Can honestly say that there is not 1 profile which caught my eye.

Calling the remaining girls 'dregs' is pretty gross, but anyone who is surprised by the way things are must have been hiding in a cupboard for the last 2 or 3 years. Aberdeen is no different from any other major Scottish city in the way the decline has gone.  Brexit, Covid, rising wages - the steady decline of girls who want to work in the industry in the UK. There is little or no prospect of things improving for a very long time.

I think the economy in Aberdeen is worse than comparable cities. I see more empty shops and more for sale signs on offices than I notice elsewhere. Not only did the pandemic
damage the economy but Aberdeen also took a hit in another oilfield downturn. Confidence is very low - anyone with money is hanging onto it because of the insecure outlook.

But I agree the choice is very poor. It was never great but the touring girls no longer come and the European girls haven't returned. It sucks

Used to have around 110/120(ish) at any given time up here a few years back on AW, Now we seem to be stuck in the low 80's alot of which are either Roms (who I wont touch) or WG's who have set theyre profiles to Aberdeen but fucked off on holiday or something and havent been online for weeks. Out of the 80 odd who are on AW I wonder just how many are actually active?

This really pisses me off. It's like they're choosing somewhere that's such a backwater they can just hide out and nobody will notice. It's a feckin insult to the city

Yeah, the holiday thing is incredibly irritating, especially if you would have booked them if they were actually here. They must get a lot of pointless messages when they do it so I don't understand why they don't just untick "escort" on their profile. I think the reason they all choose Aberdeen is just because it's first in the drop-down list.

AW should penalise them for wasting people's time, or just implement an "on holiday" option, but of course they couldn't give a shit.

Same here. Looked at her many times but her photos are not flattering (or maybe they're just honest). Strangely, what turns me off most is the double-chin photos. Each to his own though  :thumbs-up:
