After a few weeks of not receiving any replies to my messages, I thought I’d try one more time.

Bingo, she replied, I set the time, and she said to confirm nearer the time.

I replied that I’d confirm now, but would call her 10 minutes before the appointment time. Ok, she agreed, done!

I travelled into Aberdeen and parked up 10-15 minutes before show time, checked my phone to find her texts, written 15-25 minutes before agreed meet time.

“Are you still coming?”

“Reply now”

“Ok, someone else has got your booking, bye”.

I replied and mentioned our agreement, and stated I was driving during her texts.

I even tried calling, which was also ignored.

No reply from her, and a flat negative from me.

Why didn't you park up and respond to her txt ?
She didn't know you were coming so scheduled someone else - i don't think that's unreasonable

Girls aren't that organised imo - I always send a txt 30 min before to confirm and remind them
And I always watch my phone closely in the run up to the appointment in case she running late or there's a problem

My phone was on silent, and I’m not addicted to my phone like many people are so it was packed away in the car side compartment.

I wasn’t expecting any texts, sending or receiving because we had both agreed that I would confirm there and then, and that I would contact her about 10 minutes prior to meet. Note, she agreed to this!

I certainly don’t check my phone typically when driving anyway.

It’s completely unreasonable, and out of order hence the negative.
