Met with Nicole the other day, usual high quality massage and offer of h/r to bring things to a satisfactory conclusion. At this point I was 45 minutes into the massage and offered a shower. This seems to be a recurring theme among many service providers these days, taking up the last 15 minutes or so by way of a shower. Has anyone else had this experience? If you pay£40 or £45 for an hour’s massage, surely you should get a full hour and the time for the shower should not be part of it. Independents seem to give you the full hour massage, Anna and Tina both give very good value in this respect, but from my experience, some of the shops want you out as soon as possible saying that another customer is due so no time for shower. Rant over; views anyone??

My view is , why is this review positive?

Anything less than 55 minutes, which leaves 5 mins to get dressed will gaurantee I won't return

I went to refresh recently and I wasn't offered a shower.
Never been offered a shower at royal orchid(don't know if they have one).last time I went there was about 2 months ago.
Never been offered a shower at marigolds. Last went there about 2 months ago, also.
Last time I went to serenity, I had the full hour. Give or take 5 minutes to get dressed. Last went there about 3 months ago.
Last went to ban sakunee about 4-5 months ago, and I got the full hour.
If you pay for 1 hour, that's exactly what you should get. Give or take a few minutes.
Did you mention it to Nicole Thatslife?
If not, maybe you should mention it next time you go. Or complain to the manager.

Having tried most of shops and alot of the independents in and around Cardiff I'd say you get better service with a independent. Plus depending on your mood normally more extras with different independants.

Hi Dan, it got a positive review because the massage itself was, as I mentioned, up to Nicole’s usual high standards. I did not take up the offer of a shower, so ended up having the full hour., give it take a minute or two. The point of the post was to raise awareness of this seemingly increasing practice of offering a shower within the allotted hour for massage. Just wanted to see if other forum members have experienced this. Sorry if there was any confusion.
