Alway use the excuse of over running, but we know it’s just a conveyor belt, and walk ins often take priority - “bird in the hand”. Who knows maybe the other guy also booked ahead.

When I punted at parlours I would always try and go in early, eye up the other talent, and have a coffee before the punt. I can think of worst places to wait including in my car
I remember once at the Toucan, I phoned about an hour in advance because I noticed a particular SP was on the rota that I had seen several times at various other places, not really a reg because she kept moving from parlour to parlour. Anyhow I got there just in time with a few minutes to spare and she was about to walk an old guy up the stairs of “obscene eyeful”. She had just given him his towel, saw me and immediately realised that I was her next booking.
She said ”but he’s paid the room fee”.
i said “I was on time”.
Fortunately Viv intervened. She knew I had driven “half way around” Manchester to get there, looked at her watch and said “He made a booking he is on time so he can go first”. Whilst the old guy’s smile turned to a frown and he started to kick up a fuss, I picked up a fresh towel and followed her arse up the stairs.
I had a great time, but made me think about the WG, how they can switch their “affections” and smiles so easily from one punter to the next. Great actresses.
