I kept well out of this as a Forum Helper, but as a mere forum member now I think what was lacking in the subsequent discussion was that the perception of racism was from equating two things pejoratively e.g. body size and ethnicity. However, as OP said "or" and not "and" then I personally didn't read it as that. It was perhaps clumsily written, that's all. Equally, some punters could be quite into seeing a larger or non-white stripper, it's just down to individual taste.

I grew up not to far from that place. I would always take a peek through the door to check out any girls who would be standing by the desk.

Did go to The Griffin for the first time a couple of weeks ago as I had the afternoon off work and there were only about four or five other guys in there at first, and if it went under four the dances stopped until someone new came in. Spent about 90 minutes fairly chilled enjoying watching 10 girls strip, the routines weren't anything special but for a quid a go I was just happy with a bit of nudity. The girls came up and asked politely if I wanted to chat / a private dance from time to time, and I had one £20 with Michelle who was a lot of fun and very flirty, and though I won't rush back I can think of far, far worse ways to spend an hour and a half in London.

It’s a dying scene. There’s Woolpack in Hayes, but I haven’t been in ages.

There’s the back room in the nags head, but it’s gonna cost you £300 (recently increased), for 30 mins with one girl. Even then it’s pot luck with the type of girl and how far they’ll go in the back. Normal private dances are non contact.

The guys here have mentioned the Rainbow Sports bar in Shoreditch. I haven’t been so hopefully someone can add more intel.

There’s those private stripper hire firms. You can hire a private stripper to your hotel. Again it’s a lottery but you can get a gem or two, in turn they can recommend their friends to you.

The Dalston place was shut when I looked to go there a month or two ago. Apparently it's temporary for a refurb or something but not 100% sure.
