This took place earlier this year but I've been out of circulation for a while so it's taken me a few months to write it up. I phoned China Health to arrange a one hour massage for £45:
External Link/Members OnlyAppointment confirmed for 2pm and it's 5-10 minutes walk from the station through the shopping centre. I arrived at the front door on time but it was locked so I phoned. No answer. Waited, phoned again, no answer so walked round the back and found an entrance and a sign to ring the bell. No response so, after waiting a while longer, I gave up and started to walk back to the station. Phone rings and the lady tells me she's free, come in the back way. So eventually around 2.15 I'm inside with this quite reasonable looking Chinese woman ready to start. She was clearly running the place alone and after 5 minutes the doorbell rang and she apologised for having to go and take in a delivery. Circumstances were rather difficult at that time but if it's always like this I definitely don't recommend it.
Anyway the rest of the massage went well, she was pleasant and good at what she was doing. Eventually she offered me extras whilst doing a great deal of work down there with her hands to encourage me. We agreed HR for £20 which was well done. At exactly 3pm she told me time was up (she clearly had another booking) but I made it clear I wasn't happy with only getting about 40 minutes when I'd paid for an hour. What raised my rating from negative to a neutral was that she then gave me a free acupuncture session and it was quite remarkable. I'd still had pain in my neck but by sticking pins in my wrist (don't ask me why) it really did cure it. No pain at all from having the pins stuck in me either.
