Narcissism, Arrogance, Conceit and Delusion.

These are all conditions that the person with these conditions rarely knows they have them.

These are also unusual, because unlike most diseases the condition doesn’t actually affect the person with it, it only affects others around them.

My own mind at the time, in the act, was pretty empty.  I had no particular reason for the spit, it just simply happened.

As a philosophical aside, this statement is one of the strangest abdications of responsibility I have come across.

Legendary review lol. Hall of fame material OP.

Hi guys.  Nice to see you haven't forgotten us.   Forget the scorecard   'R 12,  s0what 0',  thats just deflecting the issues and saying that the winning vote has to be right.    Try reading it all again slowly and then apply pure logic to the original review.

Offline s0whatsnew?

Is this guys still going on :dash:

Keep on keeping on,  Omard.  You're doing fine.   :dash:

I find it hard to imagine not being 100% sure that I'd fucked the same woman 6 months ago

If you spat on someone’s back, would you be sure that you had intended to spit on them and had done it for a particular reason?

Dunno about you, but I all the time do things without having any particular reason.   Sometimes I want peanut butter on my toast, sometimes not.  Who knows why?  Who cares?  Back to sex,.....stuff happens.  Can you always predict the effect of what you do on the spur of the moment?  Oh, I forgot... you always know in advance exactly what you're going to do, exactly how everyone's thinking, exactly how that person will react,  you're able to take responsibility for the whole world, never mind just yourself.  Somehow I doubt it.

Funny you should say that;.....I feel myself surrounded by those conditions in other people all the time !  Question is, who's caused what in whom?  Can these conditions be transmitted over the net?   PS.  I'm having a dig, in case you don't realize.

Not at all.  The act  simply didn't have any huge significance for me at the time during the act itself.      But what makes you think that I don't  take responsibility once  her reaction  gave me to realize that she wasn't happy ?   Its true that I do see her reaction as OTT but hey-ho.  Like I said before, of course she can reject me for it.  And also I can reject her in consequence.  And I do.   But I simply don't take the whole thing as the earth-shaking event that y'all seem to do.

Offline s0whatsnew?

Ok, pal, you've convinced me.. spitting on people is just fine. What was I thinking

I  think that I meet your points head-on.  The proof that i succeed is that you don't make any solid reply.

You are morally confused, pal. All these weak arguments are ways of getting yourself off the hook. It would be much braver to put yourself on the hook and deal with it.

I would say I mostly do things for a reason so no, I don't relate to this statement. But even if I was aimless, there would still be a moral dimension to my actions. If I punched someone for no reason, I could still judge that it was wrong and that the other person was right to feel aggrieved. Your little self excuse is the way of the psychopath - no reason. no big deal.

Can you always predict the effect of what you do on the spur of the moment?

No you can't. But you can judge to a large extent the moral content of your actions without knowing their effect. It is possible to do something good and for it to have a bad effect, for example.

Sometimes I want peanut butter on my toast, sometimes not.  Who knows why?  Who cares?

When you spread peanut butter on your toast, you are intending to produce an edible meal to satisfy the desire of hunger. You do it for your reasons.

When you spit on someone you gather the phlegm in your mouth and project it onto them. Everyone knows its is a disgusting thing to do, intended to humiliate. There's a reason you don't go around spitting on people randomly. It's not 'who knows why?'. We all know why and so do you.

You took up a moral position yourself. WTF? was your reaction to her showering herself. Then you accused her of time wasting. Then you rated her performance down based on these moral acts as you saw them. You didn't just say 'who knows why she did them?'

You are being much kinder to yourself than you were to her. That isn't impressive.

Offline rover_100

Jesus Christ what a delusional person you are if you think "spitting is down to perception". Never seen someone so eager to dig themselves so deep, so fast.

Starting from the start this time.

You say  "...I mostly do things for a reason..."  How about giving her a cheeky slap while in doggy?  Ever done that?  Premeditated or did you just do it?  Ask permission first?  Don't give me any bullshit.  Of course you just did it.

I guess now you're going to say there's a difference between a lighthearted slap and a spit.  I'd say that the difference is between strangers on a street and someone with whom there can be some assumption of intimacy and acceptance.

No, i didn't  '...have to gather phlegm in my mouth...and project it...'   I'm naturally a very heavy saliva producer.  Have to work hard to avoid being a sloppy kisser.   The saliva was already there.  You can accuse me of taking an easy way out rather than swallowing it.  Project it?  Not particularly.  Yes it was a spit but not in any anti-social way.  Disgusting...intended to humiliate?   Out on the street, yes.  In the bedroom with someone the second time round, ON HER BACK, no.  I know you'll disagree but thats how I see it.

"You took up a moral position yourself..."   Now there you have a point.  Yes, I interpreted her reaction just as she (presumably) interpreted my action.  Actually we don't know that,  whether she reacted to suddenly feeling a dollop of liquid on her back, or whether she reacted to her interpretation of my motivation.  It occurs to me that she might not have been confident that it was just saliva.

A memory comes up of several months ago with  a  masseuse, my third visit.  Good rapport, good session.  All done, chit-chat time, I offered her some home-made grape juice.  To my surprise, she refused it, saying  "But I don't know you, there might be anything  in it"   My reaction was like wtf?    (again !)  All that good stuff between us these last few sessions, and this is how you trust me?  So your rapport is just an act?   Well,  goodbye.  I never went back.

Yes, I'm kind to myself.   I like to think I'm pretty kind to others, too.  That doesn't mean I have to take shite from anyone who wasn't there.

Online yesbby

If you were kind to others you’d feel bad for how the spitting might have affected her.

In answer to your question

1) yes I do give little cheeky slaps on the arse during sex, all the time, but

2) no I don’t spit on people even if I have a build up of saliva

Hope that helps

Why would it help you if you aren’t interested? You aren’t making a lot of sense here pal.

It would have been a lot easier to recognise that spitting on someone doesn’t go down well under normal circumstances and you shouldn’t have been surprised by or judgemental about someone taking exception to it.

I used the title  'Mrs'  loosely.   All of that group had pretty good sex lives.  I wouldn't be surprised if a bit of spit went down occasionally.   :sarcastic:  (not trying to imply that that's necessary for a good time)

Sharp/not sharp; thats a matter of opinion !  How about you trying to understand me ?  Its not a matter of understanding, more a matter of accepting.  Like...I'm me, you're you.    Can we live in the world together?   Judging by your posts, you don't want to do that.

So far as I can see, I haven't actually critiqued your philosophy, i've simply defended my right to be me.  The effects of that on other pps, in this case Rubby, is what we're discussing.  A lot of other threads would call you and your sidekicks white knighting under the guise of discussing principles rather than a specific meet in a specific context.

Depends on everyone else's opinion !   No, not a sick hobby; it'll be a while before i post anything remotely controversial again.

If you acknowledge what you posted was controversial, then you're contradicting yourself by trying to normalise it.

I certainly hadn't expected the reactions that came.  Most of my reviews attracted very little attention and very few views so this came as a real surprise.  In hindsight I can see the controversiality.  Not trying to normalize it, unaware of contradicting myself, just trying to explain my thinking.
