I’ve been posting reviews for a while and even commenting on people’s reviews using ‘OP’ but been too bloody embarrassed to ask what it means.
Finally found out today - Original Poster!
Surely i can’t have been the only one!

Its meaning is typically loosened to Original Post or Original Poster, depending on context.

I also didn't know *_* I thought maybe it was a term of endearment for "old punter". Patting each other on the back for providing cash and thrusts to SP's.
