Tbh my concern is more with walking in/out with the SP - want to attract the least attention possible from anyone else when entering or leaving - usually the lack of receptions the best way for that but if nothing else i'll go for something like hampton.
Mike, it mentions booking the guests name and ID to check in - is that necessary or would she be able to just go straight to the lifts then? Im assuming with the layout, there won't be anyone at the entrance and i'll be able to scan the card for the lift to come straight up to my floor?
In this particular hotel, the reception is on a completely separate floor, so you will never have to go near it (except for check in/out but so just do it without her) just straight into the lift to your floor and youre good.
You will have to physically come down to the street level entrance (via lift) and escort her to your room (she will not be able to get in, its only card operated) but as I said, no one will see you because reception is on a different level.
I think every hotel/air bnb want you to give them the name of any guests you might have, but I mean, how are they going to enforce that rule

and obviously you are not going to do that anyway. If I have the card to operate lift, open door, noone has ever stopped me asking about my guests, this does not happen (or at least it hasnt to me, yet).
I will usually meet my girls for outcall only, and I was concerned about the privacy as well but then I did my research and I have stayed in this hotel several times now and I can honestly tell you, this is as discrete as it gets (except some air/bnb out in the sticks maybe, but still, this is close to Birmingham centre, and the standard is very decent

)
