This has ended up being more of a central euro trip rather than eastern and it adds quite a bit to my route. It will be on my to do list on the next one where I head further east.

I would be looking at £30 - £50 per 1hr punt. I prefer BBW/MILFy types, if you want instagram model types you're probably looking at double that.

A decent 4 star hotel in Moscow costs £70/night, although you can get acceptable rooms for £40-45, or less if you use AirBNB style services.

I would need a £65 visa

Then there is the flight.

If you compare to British rates of £150/hr, and having 2 punts per day for a week, you'd get £2100

The same for Moscow would be £700 + £65 + £490 = £1255 + Flights + Sundries (Food & Taxis, SIM card) on the top end, at the bottom end you'd be looking at £420 + £65 + £280 = £765 + Flights + Sundries. You can actually knock those costs down even further if you're willing to look at bargain basement hotels and WGs.

So well worth the trip if you're gonna do some solid punting for a week, which is how I like to do things.

A punting trip is only ever worth it if you're gonna be there for a week, less than that, the economics aren't really in your favour if you're looking to save money. Kyiv has similar prices although the selection is a lot less, and there is no UKP style forum to help punters.

my analysis comes out slightly more expensive :
flight very reasonable 2-300 mid july
hotel the 3* hotels look fine to me on expedia at 45ish per night
girls id want slim blonde young girls so (on your info) 80/hr, Im assuming 10x over a week
id want to eat out, drink beer and do tourist stuff, advice online is moscow is euro prices, beer sounds expensive, so assuming 50/day
I'd need to drive to and park at the airport (100) and need a visa (65)
I come out at 1900 for a week, call it £2k
you couldn't have a vacation in the UK including with sex with 10 hot girls for £2k
so Im agreeing with you sounds good

although, my trips have been long weekends, travel fri come back mon
a week alone in a foreign city would drag for me, despite the option of economic shagging

To be honest I wont be punting every single day, it's more just to spice up a trip thats already happening  . I'll be going away for roughly 6-8 weeks so don't want to bankrupt myself of pussy! 

Russia sounds good... but after seeing some of the dash cam footage I don't think I'd want to drive there...

My first punting trip abroad, the punting was unbelievably cheap, you could get a girl for a night for little more than an hour here.  That was largely due to the pound riding high in those days.  So hotels, food, etc were also very cheap.  But back in those days flights were very expensive.  So in total it wasn't much cheaper.  Except my first trip was largely done on air-miles, as I was travelling a lot for work, so the flight was nearly free.

Nowadays, the price of flights has tumbled.  But so has the value of the pound, meaning the cost of punts in most EE cities is not significantly lower than the equivalent here.

I doubt anyone flies off to EE, or anywhere else for that matter, because they can't afford to punt here.  To save any money, you would have to be punting on a heroic scale.  Never really been my thing - as the saying goes, you can have too much of a good thing.  But also a big risk that an off day or two could throw the economics of the whole thing.  I look at it as a holiday, with some different attractions.

Driving outside the cities in Russia should be ok apart from winter months when conditions are terrible even for experienced drivers.  I'd recommend you to have someone who can speak russian with you when driving for lot of reasons. If you are from certain background be ready for extra checks everywhere. In latter case I'd definitely not advise you to drive unless you are in Caucasus region.

True , for that reason lot of expats from Europe and elsewhere have permanently shifted base to countries such as Ukraine , Russia and Belarus.If you are on EU pay contract and working there you can have 2/3 sugar babies and 3/4 escorts on rotation every month and you will still be alright with finances. The low price difference achieved via punting on short term visits there is not big enough to entice people to fly over when other costs are taken into account.
