I asked her if she was actually Thai and she said rather cryptically she was from north east of there, which would indicate Laos, but possibly I misheard her and she was from north east Thailand. Doesn't really matter of course! But she spoke of what a wonderful holiday destination Thailand is, and of the best places to go to avoid the crowds.
I was on Cloud 9 and had no idea of the time. I kind of knew when the first hour was up because she put her wafty New Age music back to the beginning for the start of the 2nd. But after that...
