Anybody have a go on this load of shit?

I spent quite a bit of time (and a bit of money but not too much) on it, and actually managed to organise two meets through it... which looking back was incredible as it such a load of utter bollocks for the most part.

However, at the time (2012 I believe) I was in a pretty dark place with my marriage and business falling down around me...  it enabled me to go off into a fantasy world and focus my slightly autistic tendencies into something that was reaping some reward.

Met one girl for a date and that could have gone really well had life not turned into a really fucking dark alleyway soon after.  Just before then, I'd even arranged to meet a woman in the 'back garden fancy garden shed/dungeon' in Reading... and we'd had a really enjoyable few hours there.

I've just logged onto it again for a laugh and the amount of fake profile nonsense is through the roof.  Plus I am 8+ years down the road with standard punting experience.  Might hang around and keep logging on to see if they offer me another month's membership for free like the last time.

Signed up and immediately got a message prior to even filling out my profile
Filled in just random stuff but no pic- a few more messages, some with just a number for the header so i can see it. None are local to me ie 317 miles away in Scotland.
Look at people near me with in 10 miles.  Most are clearly ripped pics from instagram and very professional looking but there are a few plain looking selfie ones too.  418 people near me and all the random ones i spot checked have zero in their profile.
Sent a few winks to random profiles and either immediately or with in minutes i get a message back.  Every single time.  More random messages from people too.
Check for recent activity of the 418 people near me.  1 has been on in the last 24 hours, 3 in the last week and 10 within the last month.  All others show no date of recent activity.  Still getting messages.
Check my email.  62 emails from them in about half an hour.  Jesus.  All winks and messages from the site with no one listed as being recently active within the last month.

So, about that free month offer..

Sounds like one of those sites that's full of fake accounts, with photos harvested from far and wide.
Been there - you register and you get bombarded with hundreds of "messages" from "girls" who are "interested", but in reality are auto generated by some sterile bot script written by a fat, sad acne infested 20 something virgin programmer, running at scheduled intervals to try to entice you back. You and every other bloke who's ever registered receive the same confidence trick trash. Total scam.
Not worth giving any more words to sites like this, just close off the discussion, otherwise it becomes an advert for their scams.

All these so called dating or hook up sites are there to pray on the gullible and lonely . Disgusting and immoral and really should be stopped . Like most everything today it's just deceit and lies . They are a good barometer for the human condition.

If you go online today - not necessarily looking for sex - you're inundated with fake cures, fake get rich without trying shit. It's like the wild west - a world before any laws. Who makes  money besides the fakes? The people who dominate the internet.

Early days of the Internet were great. Talking late 90s, early 2000s. Got plenty of "civvy tail" through dating sites. Ratio of m:f was better then as not too many folk clued up on the Interwebz.

But now dating sites are just fucking awful. Same companies with different "shop fronts", using the same database of fakes. Bleeding "White Label Dating", you fucks, I'm talking about you... You can even set up your own dating website very easily through them. External Link/Members Only

I know genuine ladies are out there on some of these sites, but it's just too much effort, money and bullshit to go through. Much rather save my shekels for punting.

I done Illicitencounters few years back. Only meet that was arranged was somewhere in West London at a friends house. She wanted an expensive wine + an expensive fee. Both not was said in her profile. Was supposed to be at her home? So sent a letter to the address given telling her so. But obviously none of my personal details in it.

Also done AshleyMadison when it got hacked. Full of fake profiles. Only one agreed to meet. But had to be a shopping trip in London. Even though she lived somewhere miles north of London. Blew her out on the day. Never heard from her again. The people that run Whitelabeldating have lots of sites all with large amounts of fake profiles. And they get put in multiply sites.

Best ever had was Dateline computer dating in the days before internet. All done by snail-mail. Being one for the dark skinned ladies ticked the Asian and black boxes on the computer form. And OMG, had some of the best fucks ever. Even on first dates......
