Whats not to understand? Female - persistent pain in that area. Not responding to Antibiotics. Not results from swabs.
Have you any
understanding of the complexities of a differential diagnosis of female abdominal pain? There is a huge spectrum of potential causes, often very challenging to diagnose. Ovarian cancer would be on that list but a way down it. The A&E medic's face will drop when told his next patient is a youngish female with lower abdominal pain.
From the limited information Neptune has given, I would be prepared to stick my neck out and say it is not Chlamydia, but to suggest ovarian cancer from his post is ludicrous.
I would imagine his wife will undoubtedly be receiving further examinations/investigations to hopefully reach a diagnosis and that Neptune has only posted panicking that his infidelity may have been the cause.
Perhaps the degree of 'hysteria' in your post is because you know of someone with this diagnosis?
