I drove into Liverpool for the first time in ages on friday afternoon and I usually aim for the on street parking in Bold Street (as I have a blue badge).  I got a bit of a surprise when I tried to turn into the top end by the bombed out church and found that the automatic bollards were raised!  Cue a hasty reverse...

Have the parking restrictions changed around there or was I just unlucky?  Does anyone know if you can still get down there?

The street where  Bamboo Massage is - Seel Street is looking pretty dug up at the moment too, so it's a bit awkward to get anywhere by car in that area.  :(

Thanks for the response guys.  Yeah I've used the multistorey before and it's quite handy and very tall!

Make sure you don't ever drive from Adelphi hotel towards Central station (ranleigh st) the have a 'Bus gate' system.  Basically you get a £30 fine though the post.
