Went here for a proper massage as my neck and back were killing me and in incredible pain.
Thought I'd give it a try and see if anything else was on offer at the same time. Didn't ask, but it wasn't offered either, but a very decent, firm, 90 minute massage nonetheless by Mi-shar (I'm only guessing how it's spelled), hence the Positive review.
Note:
First off, it's NOT the lady in the profile, so a bit of B&S going on. However, I went for a massage so this wasn't relevant.
Location & Premises:
Easy to find, plenty of on-street parking, though this might be a challenge in the day time or during the holiday season. Big multi storey car park nearby at decent rates, just keep a watch on closing times.
Based on Boulevard, one of the main, non-sea front roads in Weston super Mare, new premises which a couple of people have mentioned before when it opened, but I can't find the previous posts.
Arrived after 9pm, they close at 10pm, to her credit it was 10:15pm by the time I left, so no short changing and no clock watching.
Paid the fee and taken upstairs to the main rooms. All very new, no smells, very clean and well kept, as good or better than most office premises.
Had the option of a soft, normal or firm massage and opted for the latter as I needed it.
Details:
Asked to wait for a moment (and it was just a minute), in one of the side rooms by the receptionist, very nicely decorated, well kept and neat & tidy. Did note that it had a large double bed, which was very nicely prepared to hotel standard, so either it doubles as accommodation or you can work out the rest.
Whilst I waited, a much younger and very busty Thai lady popped in wearing a very alluring negligee, definitely not your average masseuse outfit, so I suspect either it was a very early night for her, or the massage is a legitimate (and to their credit, very competent) business front. She *may* have been the lady in the photo on AW, but she withdrew from the room giggling and slightly embarrassed as soon as she realised I was there, so it was too fleeting to tell.
The massage and masseuse were both good - she was not the lady in the picture, but slim and in decent shape, around 40 I guess, but no big deal as mentioned, as she gave a really excellent massage, focusing on my neck and back problems. No hints as to extra services and no accidental brushing, it was all totally above board and proper, although I was asked if it was the first time I'd visited.
Her English was OK - minimal conversation, but she had a good sense of humour and was definitely conversant if not fluent. Made a note of her name, as she did such a good job and I was aching considerably less the next day and day after, and back at tolerable levels after a week of miserable pain, so she knew her craft.
Summary:
I'd certainly be happy to arrange an hour in the company of the lady in the negligee, but in the meantime, if you need a very competent deep muscle massage at a reasonable price, I can very highly recommend Mishar.
