The voiceover person has a weird shaky voice that really gets on my tits. I guess its just a new gimmick to make the ad stand out.

It's done it's job, you've remembered it.   :unknown:  Bit pointless having an ad nobody notices

It's Matt Berry from Garth Merenghi's Dark Place and The IT Crowd who does the weird voice over. :hi:

True but they've had other ads which I didn't like such as the He man and skelator but I simply couldn't abide the one with the guy wearing a suit top and denim shorts with a Phat Arse twerking.
Money supermarket came out the same price as another comparison site so I actively went with the other one due to the advert

I know I'm a bit of a strange animal (in many ways  :P) but if I saw an ad which I detested (and that's most of them to be honest) then I'll actually go out of my way NOT to buy the product.

I almost feel like my intelligence - such as it is - has been offended in some way.

Plus the fact of course, that 90% of TV ads are designed to appeal to women, and therefore are demeaning to men who are made to look stupid, klutzy, ineffectual, take your pick.

To be honest I tend to ignore them if I'm watching live,  I can't even remember who the one that had the 'Toon Army' mug in it was for.  :unknown:

Watch on catch-up and the ads are taken out.

Same here, if the advert really annoys me then I'll not buy what it advertises - full stop. Also what winds me up is the constant use of the London/Essex/Eastenders accents when trying to sell stuff in my part of the country, or the American word 'Noo' instead of the English 'New.'

Yup, it is definitely a Steven Toast voiceover.
