Author Topic: Blocking WG's from RB's in AW  (Read 988 times)

Hi all

Any idea how you block a SP from making bids on your RB ?. I thought I had blocked one last time but turns out it was only emails. Im in Lancashire, asking for an incall and the daft bint puts a bid in from Essex . I believe shes a serial bidder. Once a bid comes through of course it 'locks' your RB and you can change the wording or the amount.

TIA. CL.

I wonder if you blacklist them they can't bid?

Are you doing it on the mobile version? If so, change over to the main site and you get more blocking options

Pretty certain it can't be done.  Believe me, I have tried.  Blacklist does nothing to stop a bid, and I believe that even the more comprehensive 'blocked senders' list doesn't stop it either.

Just press delete. Then if she was only bidder you can edit again.

But do you need to edit it much? I seldom change mine when open....

You cannot do it, I have tried.

Anyone from my BL who bids I used to send a polite message saying they did not fit the criteria for the booking, nor were they likely to in the future. A couple still bid, instantly deleted.

It's nice to learn that HP enjoyed himself.       https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=215539.0 :sarcastic: :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

It's hardly the end of the world, getting an irritating bid is it? Unless they're sending multiple bids. I suspect SPs get dozens of improbable requests every day.

Not the end of the world, no - but still irritating when it locks your booking request so you can't then change it (I know Steely has said in this thread that it is possible, personally I have never been able to do that after someone has bid on it, even after deleting that bid - I get a message saying "You cannot change this reverse booking now someone has expressed an interest in it".).

Plus it can be a way for someone to send an unpleasant message to you with no way to stop it, unlike blocking emails.  I had this happen from an SP who I reviewed neutrally on this site.  18 months later she replied to an RB just to have a go at me about that (although not disputing any of the things I had said).

I’ve had that to, the cake eating Jessica being one  :dash:

Yes. Thats the one.

She's bid on my RB only 160 miles away what exactly is the point?

Yeah she's bid on mine too, and not for the first time. I think every RB I've put out there she's bid on. I was down her way end of last year and thought of seeing her, then saw some of her reviews and stayed well clear
