I think I have had this virus , spent a very unpleasant week about 5 weeks ago with some but not all of the symptoms, on the NHS website they said I had probably got it , but I didn’t get tested so in truth I don’t know. I self isolated and thankfully if I did get it , would be classed as mild though I can assure you mild means not needing to be admitted to hospital, but I felt the worst I have ever been .
So now one of the girls on my hot list has popped up in Chelmsford, she travels around and is part time so I missed her for this week , but if she returns next week bearing in mind that I can’t know for certain if I have had it , or this provides some immunity should I go for it or not ?

You can get the antigen test, tells you if you had it and you have the antibodies. There is no assurances that you will not get C-19 though.
You takes your chances...but completely empathise with your situation. Very tempting, but be cognizant of wider implications  especially if you have family members who are in the higher risk category.

I would say not. Well, you did ask  .

You can't be totally sure you've had it. Even if you did you can't be totally sure you wouldn't get it again (although admittedly, unlikely if you had).

So if you did get it with a WG (hardly a necessary risk), you'll likely pass it on.

Even if you don't catch it, I think there's a plausible risk of you bringing it out of her pad with you for a short time, either directly from her of from her other visitors such as yourself.

And always remember, this is all about not just the personal risk to yourself, it's the risk to others of your actions.

I tend to be a bit boring with all this stuff but hey, if everyone was boring like me there probably wouldn't be another spike  .

Can he? One that's been proven as reliable? I thought the only reliable test was solely available through official channels, to those who qualify?

Well, appreciate the advice so far , I live alone , working from home , and always wear a mask when shopping, the antigen tests available ? I’ve seen some on line but I’m not sure of their value .
In some ways this is I think comparable to oral without, I really like Cim as a finish although there are risks attached . But again Cim is not actually life threatening.

Personally, I wouldn't spend any money on a test bought over the net as there are LOTS of scams going on at the moment with fake test kits being sold. Go through the proper NHS channels if you think you need to be tested. And "need" would be the operative word there. In the current climate, and even though I'm chomping at the bit to get an SP's knickers down, I wouldn't risk it at the moment.
