All the best for the new year lads!

As i sit here trawling vivastreet, adultwork and agencies for a woman, ive noticed more and more creeping up their prices.

I remember when it was £50 a punt, now its 6
£60... but a gold few are now at £70... some even 80!

Is it me being greedy or is there just something off with £70 for 30 mins??

Indie prices have shot up but not always inline with the quality of service. There are some really below average wg asking for the same rates as some of the top wgs. But saying that there are still a few really good wgs offering good value at 60 or below.

I do think it will change. Vivastreet is only going to get bigger and at some point it will click that EE's can earn alot more if they improved service. There seems to be more green reviews from vivastreet now, that would worry me if i was the competition.

Agreed that a lot of the advertised rates on VS look cheaper initially but when you get into it they want extra for this that and the other so end up being poor value. In my opinion anyway.

Well that's why I have "Self Imposed" price limits, for In & Out Call.

It's been said many times before on here "Top Dollar" doesn't always equal "Top Service"

As for Viva Street, I personally wouldn't go any where near it, along with Roms.

Just had a look at Amour, they put their prices up to £60 in October 2016, it's 2020 now and it's still £60, no doubt the other agencies will be similar. Not sure where you get the agency price increase from.

Just decide what your own idea of value for money is and stick to ones in that price range, there's loads at £60.

I did a lot of my early punting in the NE with agencies like Choice and Prestige. I don't think the cost of an hour's punt has changed much in 20 years. In fact I think in Prestige's case their prices are the same as they always has been. I do think though that back then there were no 30 minute sessions on offer.
I am sure that with supply and demand the cost of a punt is cheaper than it was 20 or more years ago.

Which now puts them in line with other northern cities.
Just means they've been overcharging for years

Totally contradicts the claim that the NE agencies keep prices down

Eh? they've been £60 / £110 for over 3 years, that's what keeps the prices down. It's the indiies who are putting the prices up.

but three years ago anywhere else in the north would have been between £10-£30 cheaper

Premium were £60 / £110 in 2016, Allure were £60 / £110 in 2016, can't be bothered to check the others, you have to go back to 2015 or the early part of 2016 or diamonds to get £50 / £100

Its my belief that the Newcastle parlours conspired several years ago to force prices up. OK they've been maintained at that level so they're now on a par with the rest of the north, but thats only due to increased competition from in indies. Easy to create or force a cartel of resident agencies and parlours, hard to do that with indies - especially when many are transient tourists

I know it's easily done but you're confusing me, just looked on AW and there's 255 showing in the NE at £60 1/2 hr. We don't have parlours up here, they get raided and shut down, we only have agencies, (I'm not counting massage places, most of those only do HE)

From what I've seen, in other areas agencies charge higher prices than indies. I had a quick look at the NW reviews but couldn't see any agencies mentioned, do you have them that work in the same way they do here.

if you're talking about a walk-up or brothel, like Sandy's was, then the agencies here might be more expensive, but not really the same sort of service.

There is a notorious problem in this region of the girls being bloody greedy. It happens all the times they try it on and the only people really keeping the prices in check is the agencies.

Yet people from outside the region don't appreciate this and call the agencies worse than scum.

The agencies are a godsend in my eyes as without them we'd all be paying £100 per 30 mins by now to these greedy mares....

The reason why the prices jumped from £50 per 30mins to £60 was because one agency suddenly started charging this. The others promised they'd never-ever be upping their rates to that. But punters booked the girls at that agency and so one after the other all the others copied.

To give them credit, the very last one to fall and do the price increase was PinkLadies.

To add to it a bit more. It was actually going to be £55 for 30mins and £105 for an hour. But some crazy idiot (not me) complained like crazy that cash machines don't give out fivers so the agency said in response to this "ok then, forget £55, we will make it £60".

If that never happened the agencies would likely all be charging £55/£105 all now

Now that you mention them what has taken place there? They often used to have eight or ten girls available of a night ( not all top class admittedly) but now next to none.

There was a one on a w just before Christmas. Had to laught £140 half hour the photos were photo shopped to hell.

At least had a giggle it was there 3 days then vanished

The hour isn't far away at £120, if you book 1 1/2 hours you get 30 mins for £40, maths possibly not her strong point.

"Greed" doesn't affect punters if you don't see those women. Or if you do want to see those women but are willing to wait.

I've seen reviews where guys talk about getting a better service for paying more. I've seen flirting to bring in business. I've seen the phrase "you can't afford me" used.

All of this could make you want to see someone but if she's outside your budget and you stick to your budget, it gets very frustrating.

It's your money and it's not your loss if you don't see her. They're not going to drop rates but as we're heading into unknown economic times, it's important that you stick to any plan you have and don't get angry when they're greedy.

If their greed makes you angry then that's your emotions being affected not theirs. If their flirting makes you frustrated then remember that you're a wallet on legs to them. If a punter insisting higher price means better service then ask why they even have to say that.

I'm asking that we (i.e. men) make sure any frustrations are not affecting our sense of self worth. Might be over the top but men and depression due to self worth is an issue.

I wouldn't say its greed. I would say its desperation. WGs do not put their prices up as they are getting enough business to satisfy them. The whole notion is a contradiction in logic.

Before they did thier ultimate Gerald Ratner moment, girls like Tori Taylor, Scarlett Sage and Daisy May were the lowest priced girls to book in the region and for a very long time actually undercut the agencies £110/hr price increases as they stuck on £100 an hour. The reason why is clear, they were fit, and getting bookings by the shed load so didn't need to change anything.

You will notice the girls putting their prices up beforehand they suddenly take a large interest in posting on places like Twitter, and bang on about getting a cat and being obsessed with his every move.

I am going to paraphrase what JimmyRedCab used to say all the time. Popular girls do not post on twitter, it is only the dusty phone brigade desperate for bookings.

I am going to add my own to that. Popular girls do not own cats and post about them non-stop. As they would have other things to occupy their time with - i.e bookings, or spending money earned from the bookings. There is a reason why the phrase crazy cat lady came about and it's not because they are busy.

When the above girls claim of price increases as they are "so busy" it is a lie. It is a price increase because nobody is booking them. If people were booking them they wouldn't have time for silly waste of time places like twitter.

Don't book them. They will put their prices back down when they realise it doesn't work. If a WG is not getting enough bookings, she shouldn't put her prices up to compensate. She should put her prices down. Or offer discounts. No other industry when there is not enough customers does the business put the prices up to compensate.
