What is the best way to save photos from Adultwork please?

Open the largest version of the pic from the gallery.  Drag it from the pop-up window into a browser tab.  Save picture from there (right click menu on Windows PC).

On Windows PCs, if you're doing reverse image searches then you don't have to save, just use the image search option from the right click menu.  If in Chrome then you will be offered Google Image search.  Otherwise install the likes of TinEye extension in your browser of choice and use that.  Different image searches offer different results so best to have several to increase your chances of a find.

Ah. This doesn't work on private gallery pics though.

two different methods depending on whether its a profile or gallery image

Take for example External Link/Members Only or External Link/Members Only

If for example you want the portrait from the profile, click on it to open it in a new window, click again to enlarge it
The url shows as
External Link/Members Only
copy from it //ci.adultwork.com/f/3462499_1.jpg and paste into a new browser window. Hit return and the image should open, now you can right click and save it. Some browsers may need you to add http: or https: to the title before the image will open.

If you wanted for instance the first photo from the gallery (this time another portrait) click the image so again it opens in a new browser window.
This time you have to open the source coding for the web page, how you do that depends on the brower
Search the source until you find a phrase saying "TheImage". To the right will be the url of the image, which in most browsers can be right clicked and opened in a new window
(in this example its External Link/Members Only)

The image will open in a new window. In some browsers the url will be prefixed view-source:https://
Delete "view-source:" hit enter to refresh the page and now you should be able to save the photo by right-clicking it

Sorry, never bother with PGs.

Try Image Downloader (or similar) extension in Chrome.  I have used this to grab multiple photos at once but I'm usually only nabbing the most representative pics for the record here.  I don't collect for posterity.

Screenshotting extensions and apps like FireShot for Chrome are a bit better, they can scroll within window.  I use it to capture VS and GT ads for posting here.

I'm confused though unfortunately.
I thought the only way to "view source" was to right click. On a private gallery pic, you can't right click as it's protected

On the whole, tineye is crap. It hardly finds anything. Even Google Image search misses a load these days. Best one I've found is External Link/Members Only. Use yanex as well as Google Image search and it'll find most fake photos.

Scammers are now flipping the photos to fool image searches. So when searching images, reverse flip them as well to check to see if fake or not.

I guess you're using Chrome? Use Firefox, that way you get into the source via the menus. That's something I'd forgotten was removed from Chrome

Now simply scroll down to see all photos, including the verification picture, if available. All images are right-click saveable. You can also select and copy any text on the profile page.

Each search engine adds to the mix.  I've found things via TinEye that didn't ping in Google or others so the main thing is to use more than one that you've found to find something where others haven't.
If you're bothered about the origin/hosting of your utilities then check each of them out.  Google is as sinister as you choose to believe.  TinEye is Canadian,  Yandex Russian.

Firefox add-ons include a version of FireShot (I just found it). 
There are add-ons that seem to marshall searches on multiple search engines but some are known to seek permissions in your browser that you may not be happy with.  Read details and reviews of an add-on before installing.

Made the mistake of pasting the link to the script into the extension rather than the contents from the link   
Once I corrected that all images just revealed themselves.

I haven't tested on Firefox, but the script should work with the greasemonkey extension. Do let me know how you get on.

Seems to work fine (well it did on viewing a single, random AW profile).   

Wasn't happy about the all data access permissions for the add-on but given what it does I suppose it had to be that.  Some comfort that's it's "officially" open licenced.

Try using "shift" and right click in Firefox. This bypasses the anti right-click scripts on the site.

I save the images on my samsung smartphone, when in a pg just press and hold on the image, the option to dowlnoad image comes up, then you can connect the phone to a pc, hey presto.

Thanks, I'd forgotten that feature from way back, it's been years since I relied on FireFox to give me some semblance of privacy on the Web.

There's also a Firefox Extension called "Click to Enable Right Click". It puts a small Mouse icon with a crossed out circle next to your browser. When you click it the crossed out circle disappears and you can right click and save.

Screenshot has to be the easiest way...on Macs its just CMD+Shift+4 and you're on your way...not extensions nothing. Same should apply for windows.
