I've just been to 3 Lisle Street (Friday), and the Ruby working there is Romanian Ruby from Romilly Street.
is she still there most Fridays?

No surprise.

In fact, I think it was Crazy Angela that first mentioned it, and said she would rather retire, than go indie!

Greek street (walk up) - Lily

I have to preface this by mentioning this was a year ago, and I'm not sure of how you guys feel about old reviews, but here it is anyway.

Location - Greek street by the Japanese Knife shop (many of you obviously know), busy street and the entrance is bang in view so not for the shy. At this stage I'm actually past caring, tourists can give me a wave as I go in if they like. Most people will have no idea, it's pretty much if you know you know

Setting - average walk up, really not nice, but not dirty.

Appearance - lily is about early 70's, quite short hair, as you'd imagine, frail looking skinny fat body but definitely not as out of shape as she could be for her age.

The punt - lily opens the door, I say hello, she answers with a weird and slightly abrupt "it's me, the girl" haha ok ok I'm fully aware, I came to see you (I didn't say it). I walk in opt for regular sex, hand over £20 and a £2 tip, and we both undress.
She tells me to lay down for oral, I say no thanks because a protected BJ is pointless. She seems surprised, and asks, "are you sure" I say yes I'm ok, she says "well my suck is good" in a way to imply I'm really missing out and nobody would turn down a BJ from her. After accepting that I wasn't up for it she lays down and lubes up. I giddy up and slide in, not much from her but faint moans let's me know at least she's enjoying it. Finish in about 30 seconds and get out of there. Not the best but not the worst. But I literally wouldn't see her if it wasn't for the novelty. Her personality is at best in offensive, I didn't enjoy talking to her much.
She seems to actually care about what she does and hasn't increased her prices while everyone around her did, so this shows it's not only about money for her, so I give her a lot of points for that. If you want an unrushed service and someone who doesn't behave they're working at the counter at a bank she might be for you.

Let me know if you found my review really crap. I'm a native so feedback is welcomed. I can ramble less

Reviews can only be posted for bookings that took place within the previous 6 months mate so I've merged this with the walk-up thread.

Offline MonkeyLasagna

Oh ok, thanks for not deleting it. Do you know what happened to her? She seemed to disappear along with the walk up when it closed. I find it weird because one wouldn't just become a receptionist because the building they're working from has been taken over. You can work anywhere you like. I'm in pretty sure she'd never go independent

Offline MonkeyLasagna

I took a walk through Soho on my way to the theatre today and saw a group of schoolboys outside 10 LNS with their phones at the ready.

They probably heard about it on tick tock or something. The internet ruins everything

You're right. Let's hope no one will start an internet forum dedicate to punting....

I've got no idea, I'm from Newcastle and never been to a Soho walk-up.

All reviews over the 6 month limit get moved to discussions not deleted.

Went to 10 Little Newport St today (Tuesday) for the first time in a while. There's new girl there, a Brazilian called Victoria. Had 20 mins with her for £75. The new price list is now in line with the Lisle St ones, when it use to be noticeably cheaper. Still, she was worth it, very forthcoming and game. I'll put a review up when i can, along with Morana and a couple of others.

I also saw a new black girl at 34 Romilly St yesterday, called Maila (or Maida?). Says she's Spanish on the sign, but she says she's from Cuba. Had a suck and fuck for £50. Doubt if I'll return again.

I've never understood why anyone would move to Soho and then complain about the noise. It's not like the place used to be quiet when they moved in. I also don't get why so many businesses and people with an interest in a vibrant Soho seem to be onside with this Soho Society. I speak to a few such people out and about, and there seems to be little animosity towards them from what I can gather.

Next month there's the Soho Fete, organised by them, with a lot of Soho businesses and figures taking part. The Soho Society should be fucked off by anyone who loves Soho, IMO.

@Cullen as someone once said on this subject "they like the vibe, but not the people" aka they like the kudos of being in soho, brixton, hackney, nottinghill gate etc, but not the class of people who have lived in some cases all their lives there in social housing.

Happen to be in London this weekend for the mighty Metallica and fancy giving a Soho walk up a try.

Which would be the recommendations for Saturday/Sunday morning or afternoon visit?

Not bothered about race, so long as decent looking and at least semi-enthusiastic.

Thanks

Offline Mr Girth

Worth noting it's the annual Pride London Parade on Saturday so expect the general Soho area to be exceptionally busy.

Just to add, my 2p:

I think they also like the convenience of living in central London, but can't afford Mayfair or even Marylebone.

It's possible to buy a small flat in Soho for under £500k. Which is not bad, to be in the centre of the west end.

But they don't want to put up with what is inevitability going to come with living in Soho: Noise and nightlife.

Most people understand the realities of life and live in the suburbs (or further afield) and travel into the centre for work/entertainment.

But the new(ish) breed of Soho resident is not prepared to compromise and live in the suburbs. Indeed, they think that is up to everyone else to compromise and leave Soho by 11pm and to keep the noise down, while on a night out.

The full name is Soho Village Fete.

I could weep

When did Soho cease being a red light district and become a village?  :unknown:

The old Soho characters will be spinning in their graves.

And I don't just mean the well known characters, but also people such as the maids in the walk-ups. They were more a part of Soho than the  members of the Society will ever be!

The fete will be held in St Anne’s Gardens.

It's free entry, but it has a limit of 500 people. Society members will be given priority...

Those of us that knew and loved the old Soho for several decades, will have to get in line behind Society members, who are, of  course, better than the rest of us!

I won't be going, and don't think they would want an old whore-monger from old Soho.

Another press article about the current state of things in Soho and its increasingly sterile nature.

Before anyone says the article has nothing to do with punting; the first sentence mentions local businesses trying to attract punters!

My trip to London in October is booked for 2026.  I hit the Soho walkups last year as you can see from some of my posts.

Browsing the thread in preparation for this year's visit, looks like prices have increased and the number of flats offering services has decreased.

I was hoping to get to Crazy Angela this year since I missed 3 Lisle last year, but looks like that is gone.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread leading up to my trip and post my debaucherous encounters again.

I am aware of adultwork, but it is more fun for me to knock on a random walk up door and not know what awaits on the other side.  Also, don't care about privacy as it adds to the excitement of the encounter to walk into the stairwell with people either knowing, or not knowing what goes on in there.

Not been to Soho in a while, last time i was there I saw this skinny romanian with dark dair and bad teeth, a sweet girl with a good atttiude. Time before that I saw this contemptuous rom poss hung, shorter, less skinny, but petite, almost zero fat, tats, little bit more shape to her - great time too, ultimately. Saw both on Green's Court. Who might these girls have been? (names) and is there anyone currently working with similar physical build?

She was working under the name Maira today, though I didn't stay - was planning on just getting a £30 blow job and checked she'd be okay with me briefly playing with her boobs, but she shook her head and said it'd be £50 for that, and I didn't fancy her enough to pay that much. Then went to 52 Greek Street in the hope of seeing Tamara but there were 3 people queuing already, and was short on time so decided not to punt at all rather than check out any of the other flats.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Did try to explain that it'd make me hornier and so I'd cum quicker, but she wasn't having any of it. She also pointed at the hour price and suggested I might like to stay for that, but given it was only just under £200 there was no way I was going to stick around!

You can bet she sees plenty of punters who just reach and grab for her boobs.

But if you are a gent, and don't boundary push, and ask nicely, you get met with extortion!

Yeah, I had the same experience. She also doesn't allow a plating for a 20 minute (£75) stay. She might find a market due to the novelty of a black WG in Soho, but I doubt it if she's that restrictive.

Also, for the people above that mentioned Crazy Angela being at 3 Lisle Street - she's not, she's at 4 Lisle Street from Friday to Monday. 3 Lisle Street has closed.  :(

The skinny one sounds like Aisha. The other one could have been Julia. They're both gone now. Try Bulgarian Mary at 2 Lisle Street, Monday to Friday. I've reviewed all three on here.

Interesting, I knew it was on the cards, but I thought it might not be for a while.

TBH, During the glory days of the walk-ups in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, Lisle street was never my thing.

BTW, because I love the history of Soho, there is a very small, silly point that I'm curious about: I can't, for the life of me, remember what the building was that is now the W Hotel.... Does anyone remember?  :unknown:

I walked past 3 LS the other day and noticed it was closed and thought it odd. Another one bites the dust then. These soho places are all going to go is my prediction which is very sad. It’s clear to me this is the direction of travel now though. The only question is by when. I suspect at some stage next year?

I can't walk through Soho without passing at least one former walk-up from decades ago. It's a strange feeling to find myself passing some trendy office belonging to a media company or marketing company, and knowing that 35 years ago I've been in there a few times for a punt.

It's not an upsetting or sad feeling, just feels strange... :unknown:

August 1978 I did a review (for private info) of all the walk ups in Soho. I wrote down who was where and a description and £. The lower end was £6. Top end was Nicole in Lisle St at £10 who did OWO. French lady doing french.

I opted for Kim at the end of the mews off D'Ably St. £6 but asked for £2 more when I started appreciating her boobs. My first Soho punt. I had some regulars over the years. Should write a book!

Fay and Kim turned up in porno. Also, Stacey Owen (in SW London), and later Katy/Rosella Conti.

xhamster has 49 videos of Stacey Owen!

I used to go to the walk-up in D'Ably street, that was more or less above the entrance to the mews. It's now a smart flat.

The first walk-up I went to in the late 80s, the SP mentioned "French"...and I remember thinking she meant French kissing.

I remember "Greek" being on offer in a couple of gaffs, for a sum that was more than I earned in a week!

But my best times were spent in the walk-ups that lined the north side of Moor Street. Each building had a number of "doors" on the upper floors. There was also a large sex shop at ground floor level. It's all been knocked through to form an hotel.

Some of the maids were real Soho characters!
