Anyway now we have got this out the way - you guys do run a tight ship some good reviews that have helped me on my travels - but lay off the comspiracy theories eh !
It’s nothing to do with conspiracy theories, it’s
probability theory. This is how it works.
When long-standing punters see a first-time poster posting about WGs who have not been reviewed recently, they immediately recall the formula
χ².
This reminds them that there is a statistically significant correlation between the observed frequency of:
a) possession of a dusty phone; and
b) the propensity to post about WGs who have not been reviewed recently.
The formula
χ² is known as the chi-squared test, and is used to determine whether there is a significant positive correlation between the following variables:
a) the expected frequencies of
suspected WGs posing as first-time poster posting about WGs who have not been reviewed recently; and
b) the observed phenomenon of
actual WGs posing as first-time posters posting about WGs who have not been reviewed recently.
Using historical data, the theory is statistically overwhelmingly supported.
Simples, innit?
