I have now punted the RLD a few nights per visit, and most nights with 1-3 WG. So about 4-6 ish per visit. Sample size is 2010 x 2visits,  2012 x 3, 2013 x2, 2015 x1 , 2018 x1
Observations:
—Just as easy to find 8s, 9s, and if luck a 10. Just keep walking.
—service level has dropped.
—scammy upselling is way more common
It has become more important than ever to negotiate and be very specific. Tips;,
—Don’t ask for a price, then ask follow on questions. T
—don’t assume anything. Is the there a bottom and top on her? Pay for “sex” and the top may stay on. Top off? 30 extra.
—ask “ how much for a, b, c, x, y, z, 1,2, 3”.  Be over the top specific. Formula for best VFM is you specify the entire list, only then get the price.

Overall? Can’t wait to get back to UK. Thank god for review sites like this one.

The warning signs about getting ripped off in De Wallen Amsterdam have been there for years. The place has changed no matter how much people will reply to say it is the place to go. a) The girls have additional police assistance, in years gone by the police were there to supervise the junkies, but with few if any junkies, the girls become priority. The police wont go against the girl if there was an accusation over the money. b) The Dutch women no longer see the De Wallen as a viable job. There is very few of them. Young Dutch women even less. c) The locals don't see De Wallen as something to be proud of, they are ok with the money it allegedly brings in.d) Most windows aren't occupied anyway, the amount of people who talk about how many windows there are don't equate that to actual girls working from them-mainly because they are empty. e) yes there is an e)- which is only the Brits think it is a party destination and go there in droves for the weekend. I dont see what is the point of just watching others after paying for a flight/hotel, I can do that in the UK for free. Best advice as others will say is go to Amsterdam De Pijp (has a new metro station to get you there) or go outside. If you pay more than 30-50 euros in De Wallen, you either have a good salary, a good wife who doesnt look at bank statements, or you are yet to look up the meaning of the word "avoid".

There are significantly better places to go and they are documented. Make it your last trip there and head elsewhere. Even if you have a good punt in De Wallen you are still stepping out into a busy little lane filled with people. Also, the place is full of drunk groups who have no idea what they are doing.

Do some reading and head somewhere else. You will never go back to Amsterdam afterwards.

Try to understand why they are behaving like that. RLD in Amsterdam is one of the tourist attractions. You will often see there are a lot of clueless tourists mainly from Asia with big pockets out there.

Unless these clueless tourists could speak Dutch these prossies know very well, they are a local people and thus, they are not going to come back anyway. Anyway, you hardly ever see the local people will do window shopping in Amsterdam.
Any reasonable people will understand that the best strategy to get easy money is to try screw these clueless tourists making money as much as possible out of them. There is no point of maintaining a repeated business as these business model does not exist in this particular case.

Also keep in mind these prossies are self-employed, so even they get a very bad review in many international forums, it is not going to affect them anyway. They could easily rent another room with new ID in this RLD.
