I personnally have no problem reading these TS reviews. So long as they are headed up as a TS review then people have a choice as to read or not. I thought your last review on a TS was just fine. I'm not sure I'll do one though

Some people do dislike them (either openly or secretly), and although it doesn't bother me all that much it might save a little friction. As well of course, as encouraging others to post up more TS reviews, with the usual benefits which apply to any members - ie knowing which SPs are any good, and knowing which to avoid.

I do also think that a lot of 'non-TS' members like to have a sneaky little look every now and then, which is fine of course, but some can't resist having a little dig while they're at it. If they had no reason to be 'drawn into' the TS category in the first place then they wouldn't be able to excuse their presence other than wanting to have a cheap dig.

Ah yes, I'd heard that Rico. But having only recently 'discovered' TSs I'd never visited that site.

From my relatively short time on UKP it does seem as though more guys are now interested in TSs than when I joined, and as this becomes more 'normal' there doesn't seem to be as much overt hostility towards reports on them as used to be the case. There's still disapproval and 'implied disdain' from some quarters of course, and punting is not for the faint hearted in any case, so a bit of stick doesn't matter too much.

I still think a more 'self-contained' TS section within UKP would be a good idea, and have requested so from Admin. But I realise that would be a fair bit of work and TBH, from his lofty perch, the various shenanigans and goings-on here on UKP must prove quite interesting and entertaining for him (as well as others), all part of the ambience. This is a great place to have, so I certainly ain't knocking it.
